
This course delves deeper into the principles, theories and practices of corporate finance, building on the foundational knowledge acquired in Corporate Finance and Financial Management courses. Over the semester, you will explore a range of advanced topics essential for understanding the complex financial decisions faced by corporations. We will begin by building on the key concepts of corporate finance: risk and return, time value of money, and the four core decisions in corporate finance: capital structure, capital budgeting, dividend policy, and working capital management. Further, the course will introduce three new topics relevant for aspiring finance professionals: Valuation, International Finance and Risk Management. This course aims to equip you with advanced analytical tools and practical skills necessary for making strategic financial decisions in a corporate environment. The course offers opportunities to engage with case studies, participate in discussions, and apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios to gain a holistic understanding of corporate finance and make informed financial decisions that drive business success.
